Our Trustees
JAMES M. WOODS B.A. LL.B.
Principal Trustee
James has operated businesses since his early twenties including windsurfer hire, yacht charter, motor accident repairs (1984 – 1989), legal practices (1989 – 2002) and is currently the Managing Director of the debt recovery business eCollect.com.au Pty. Ltd.
Through his connection with St Kilda City Junior Football Club, James organised the first group of indigenous footballers to come to Melbourne from Tennant Creek through the 2009 football season.
From this experience, it was obvious that the football would take care of itself but that providing a secure home environment and quality education were the most important elements of any exchange program. At James’s invitation, the Kajji Foundation was established.
James is married to Sam and has two sons who all enjoy the experiences that come from their involvement with the Kajji Foundation.
